We Believe

WE BELIEVE IN..

The Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God (2 Timothy 3:15,16)

There is only one True God- that is revealed in 3 persons: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Commonly known as the Trinity) (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 18:19; Mark 12:29).

The virgin birth and sinless life of Jesus Christ: his atoning death, bodily resurrection, and Ascension. (Isaiah 7:44; Romans 8:34; Acts 1:10).

That man fell to sin, ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual into the world. (Genesis 1:26,27; Genesis 3:6; Romans 5:12-19)

Every person can restore their fellowship with God through 'salvation', by trusting in God through faith and repentance and receiving Him as their personal Lord and Savior. (1 John 5:10; Romans 10:13-15).

That after salvation we are instructed to observe two ordinances: 1) Water baptism by immersion 2) Partaking of Communion: the Lord's Supper- juice and bread in memory of His death. (Matthew 8:19)(I Corinthians 11:26).

Through Christ's redemptive work on the cross, we can receive divine healing. (Isaiah 53:4; Matthew 8:16,17;James 5:13,14).

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit: is for believers and follows salvation, to empower us to be witnesses for Christ just like in New Testament times. (Acts 2:4, 10:44-46;15:8,9).

The sanctification power of the Holy Spirit that helps us separate ourselves from evil as believers and draws us closer to God. (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15,16).

The second coming of Jesus Christ. When Christ will rapture His Church prior to His return to Earth. Blessed hope resurrection and translation of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and those who are alive at His coming. (Acts 24:15; Luke 14:14; Revelations 19:7,9)(1 Thessalonians 4:16,17).

The final judgment of those who have not accepted Christ as Savior, with the devil and his angels in the Lake of Fire (Revelations 19:20, 20:11-15, 21:8).

The New Heavens and New Earth that Christ is preparing for everyone who has accepted Him as Lord. We will live and dwell with Him there forever following His millennial reign on Earth. 'And so shall we be forever with the Lord.!' ( 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21, Revelation 22)

The Church has a mission: to be Jesus' hands and feet and to seek and save all who are lost. (Matthew 28:18-20)
